The front car of the railcar was originally the driving coach of Furka Oberalp which was kindly donated to the society by Phil Moon in 1997 (see Trixie Belle for further details). In 2007 it was decided to split the loco and the driving car and use them as individual units thus forming two battery electric units. A second car was made to match and mounted on an articulating bogie between both cars. The unit is powered by a 1hp electric motor via control gear by Parkside Electronics and entered service in the 2008 running season.
