Tommy is a petrol powered tram-outline locomotive built by Joe Milburn in the early 2000's. He is powered by a single cylinder Kohlar 4hp engine, coupled to a Eaton Hydrostatic gearbox. 

 Tommy has recently (April 2013) been given a new lease of life by a member of the BPMRS, improving its performance considerably and allowing Tommy to return to regular passenger service for the first time in many years.

 In the winter of 2013/14, Tommy was repainted into the colours of Burnley Corporation Tramways, and numbered 74, next in sequence with the Burnley trams, which ended at 73. Tommy now has the distiction of featuring in a national railway magazine!
